2 year old theology...

Viktor enjoys having sweet little theological discussions with Emily. He has the month of January off from class, so perhaps he is compensating for the lack of classroom discussion by these conversations with her. WHO KNOWS! :) But, it is pretty cute. For a few weeks he has been working on the Trinity with her. When asked, "Emily, who is in the Trinity?" She replies, "God, Marty (from Madagascar), and Moses." LOL! Occasionally she will add, "Jesus."

Then last night at dinner the following conversation occured and I believe it is worthy of documentation.

Emily: Are you a daddy?

Viktor: Yes. I am YOUR daddy. No one can ever change that.

Viktor: Just like no one can change that you are both American and Hungarian.

Emily: Oh

Viktor: Just like Jesus. He was 100% man and 100% God.

Emily: Why?

PAUSE

Kristen: Oh, this oughtta be good…

Viktor: Because Jesus came to fix the world.

PAUSE

Emily (singing): Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way.

Oh my my! Never a dull moment around here!

Splish! Splash!

 Daddy is "in charge" of bath time around here...and during this 30 minute time period I often hear nothing but giggles and laughter. And this is usually what I stumble upon if I go check in on the fun...
