The past few weeks have been pretty busy around the Rozsa household. We took a trip to Bloomington over the first weekend of October to celebrate Mimi's (Kristen's mom) birthday and to attend a wedding of our good friend, Zach and his wife, Ann. The following weekend, Kristen and Emily went to Nashville, TN to participate in the Race for the Cure. We went with our friend, Missy, while Viktor stayed back with Missy's husband and cleaned our carpets (of course they had a fun "guys" weekend, too). All of our pictures are on Missy's camera...so we'll have to save them for another time. Emily is a good little traveler and she enjoyed her first 5k (slept almost the whole time!). We also enjoyed a visit from our good friend, Ron Adkins, this past week. Ron married us and he and his wife have been such a blessing in our life. It was a refreshing time together! This weekend marked my (Kristen) final days of work at Asbury Seminary. After returning to work post-baby, we made the difficult decision for me to resign from my job at ATS and stay home full-time to care for Emily (and Viktor). We are excited for all this means for our family and look forward to this new season of life together.
Emily is growing so much and we just can't get over how fast it is going. She is such a joy and we cannot imagine life without her. She is a very content baby, observing and taking in everything going on around her--she never misses a beat! She is fascinated with her hands and has learned to reach up and hit the toys in her little floor gym. She has rolled over a few times from belly to back and she is gaining a lot of neck strength and head control. She actually tries to lift herself up when she is lying on her back by lifting her head off the ground. If we slowly pull her up by her hands she will hold her head and enjoys "sitting" in this position. She is sleeping through the night from about 7:30pm-5am and then after eating she sleeps again until about 9am. We are so proud of our sweet girl and love watching her grow and discover new things. We are so thankful to God for giving us such an amazing blessing!
Well, that is the latest. I know you really just want to see photos...so here you go!
