It's hard to believe our baby girl is 6 weeks old today! She is growing like crazy and we are enjoying every bit of our life together with her. This past weekend we took our first road trip to Bloomington with Emily. I had been waiting for this day for a long time...it was the first time she would meet her great-grandma! It was nice to have a weekend away and visit with family and close friends. Emily did great on the 3.5 hour car ride and seemed to tolerate the new surroundings well. Enjoy the pics!

Ok, so the above picture wasn't taken in Bloomington, but I thought it was too cute, so I had to post it. :)

Ever since Emily was born, Viktor has been calling her his little Twinkie. The other day I grabbed a box of Twinkies at the store so we could get a fun picture.

What are you looking at??

Just hanging out with mommy and daddy.

Emily loves to be swaddled, but she also loves to fight her way out of it. Viktor came home and found her little fingers had made their way out of the swaddle.

Playing at Pop and Mimi's house.

Making a silly face...no clue!

Viktor enjoying a latte after a long night of work and drive to Bloomington.

Playing with Pop and Mimi. It took my mom an entire day to make a salad because she was so distracted with Emily.

Mimi bought a little floor gym for Emily and she absolutely loves it. Daddy found his way in on the fun, too!

Enjoying our sweet girl.

Uncle Eggie entertaining Emily. We can't wait until she starts responding...these two will be quite the pair!

Saturday was also Viktor's Hungarian Name Day, so we celebrated with a homemade strawberry cheesecake. Yum!

Snuggling with Brick and Eric Ban. So cute!

Emily finally meets her great-grandma. What a precious moment!

My cousin Ben and his wife, Misty, were in town visiting as well.

One of my fondest childhood memories is of my grandma reading Goodnight Moon to us. I wanted her to do the same for Emily, so we have her on video reading to her. It was so sweet!

Four generations!

Taking a walk down to the lake.

I don't know how we managed to get such a funny picture, but I can only imagine the trouble these two will get into one day!

Since we were on the lake we had to take a picture of Emily in one of my summer lake dresses.

"Not another car ride, mom..."
We can't wait for Emily to have these special moments someday with her family in Hungary!
