The month of May…not sure what I think of it! Let’s just say
I am thankful for a camera and pictures to document this past month since my
mind alone cannot recall all of what we experienced. It was a whirlwind
adventure to say the least. Viktor’s parents arrived just 3 weeks after Gabi’s
birth. Not only were we still trying to figure out life as a family of 4, we
added two extra house guests to the mix. HA! The first weekend they were here
we had a visit from our dear friends the Bevils and the Stouts and we also
celebrated my 30th birthday! The second weekend they were here we
took a trip to Bloomington so our parents could all meet (for the first time).
We also celebrated our 5th anniversary (well, not really…we have yet
to celebrate it…) and Mother’s Day. We got to visit our sweet friends Doug and
Kristin while in town and Gabriella met her great grandmother for the first
time. It was a quick 24 hour trip. The
very next week we were in the mix of graduation festivities…that comes in
another post! For now, enjoy the pictures below!
Here we are meeting Nagypapi and Nagymami at the airport. This was their first visit to the States and their first time meeting both granddaughters.
Nothing sweeter than a visit with the Bevils. (don't you love Viktor eating his pizza in the background?)
They've missed each other after 6 long months...ha!
Happy Birthday!
Lots of playing outside.
Look who turned 1 month old! Sweet girl!
Visiting with my parents in Bloomington.
Those of you who know Emily well and know she does not care much for animals (well, only at a distance) would be shocked (at least I was...). Doug and Kristin have a few chickens and Emily was loving it! Our short time with the Varella's was such a breath of fresh air. We are so grateful for amazing friends near and far!
Mother's Day...I am so blessed to be the mama of these 2 beautiful girls!
Meeting Grandma Carolyn on Mother's Day.
Four generations...and one proud grandma!
Gabi loved her first bath with the assistance of big sister.
Smiles for Nagypapi
They love each other...silly girls!
Baking isn't fun without getting to lick the extras!
Ready for some relief from the heat...pool time!
Pool party with daddy and our neighbor, Will!
One happy baby! We get to see a lot of these smiles every day. It makes my heart melt!
Stay tuned...graduation update still to come... :)
