Once a month "Mr. Ron" comes to town to study for a week at Asbury. Though we love having him around and his visits are such refreshing times for us, we know he misses his family (as much as they miss him) during these week-long stays in Wilmore. We are so thankful that he takes time out of his busy reading and researching schedule to spend an evening in our home and share a meal together. Emily looks forward to his visits as much as her mommy and daddy!
Here he is entertaining Emily and helping her try on all of her new hand-me-downs from his daughter, Maddie. They were having so much fun! We can't wait until Jan and their 4 kiddos can all join us again for a visit. :) We are so grateful for our sweet friends!

Even thought Emily has her sandles, Maddie is still praying she will come for a visit :)
